Fannie Kauffman
                                    July 28, 1919 ~ December 8, 2015

Fannie (Plank) Kauffman, 96, of Syracuse, formerly of Topeka, died at
4:20 pm on Tuesday, December 8 at Emily's House of Waterford
Crossing, Goshen. She was born on July 28, 1919 in Sumner County,
KS to Joni and Mary (Borntrager) Plank. On December 19, 1940 in
Arthur, IL. she married Harvey A. Kauffman, he died May 10, 2003.
Surviving are five sons, Marvin (Liz) Kauffman of Millersburg, Alfred
(Katie) Kauffman of Middlebury, Ira (Patty) Kauffman of Goshen, Steve
(Wilma) Kauffman of Topeka, Harvey, Jr. (Fern) Kauffman of Middlebury;
two daughters, Mary (Daniel) Bontrager of Topeka, Katie (John) Eash of
Syracuse; 35 grandchildren, 43 great-grandchildren, six great
great-grandchildren; a sister, Mary Ann Mast of Arthur, IL. She was
preceded in death by her parents; husband; an infant daughter,
Barbara Kauffman; a son, Joni Kauffman; a granddaughter, Mary Jean
Kauffman; six brothers, Dan, Jacob, William, John, Joni, Jr. and Lonnie
Plank; four sisters, Emma Overholt, Anna Mae Miller, Barbara Mast and
Lizzie Miller. She was a homemaker and member of the Old Order Amish
Church. Visitation will be after 2:00 pm on Wednesday, December 9 and
all day Thursday, December 10 at the John Eash residence, 70764 CR
29 Syracuse. Funeral services will be at 9:30 am on Friday, December 11
at the same residence. Services will be conducted by Bishop Amos
Wingard and the home ministers. Burial will be in Hawpatch Cemetery,
