Ezra E. Miller
                                December 27, 1929 -- June 13, 2013

Ezra E. Miller, 83, of Lagrange, died at 9:15 pm, on Thursday, June 13, at
Millers Merry Manor, LaGrange after an extended battle with Parkinson’s
disease. He was born on December 27, 1929, in Shipshewana, to Enos E. and
Ida (Yoder) Miller. On December 13, 1951 in Topeka he married Anna
Bontrager, she died March 6, 2003. Surviving are daughter, Mary Alice
(Vernon) Miller of Topeka; four sons, Marion (Clara) Miller of Howe, Cletus
(Rosetta) Miller of Cave City, AR, Glen Miller of Elkhart, Mervin (Katie Fern)
Miller of Ligonier; 22 grandchildren, 47 great grandchildren; four sisters, Ida
Mae (Ervin) Bontrager of Shipshewana, Alma Beechy of Lagrange, Amanda
Miller of Shipshewana, Anna (Mervin) Mast of Lagrange; two brothers, Harley
Miller and Jerry (Ruby) Miller both of Shipshewana. He was preceded in death
by his wife, parents, an infant son, infant daughter, Ruby, one grandson, two
infant great grandchildren, sister, Wilma Bontrager, sister-in-law, Wilma Miller,
two brothers-in-law, Amos R. Bontrager and Danny Beechy. He was a farmer
and a member of the Old Order Amish Church. Visitation will be after 2:00 pm
on Friday June 14, and all Saturday June 15, at the Mervin E. Miller residence,
11385 W. 800 S., Ligonier. Funeral services will be at 12:30 pm on Sunday
June 16, also at the Mervin E. Miller residence. Services will be conducted by
Bishops LaVern Raber, Harry W. Miller and Levi Barkman. Burial will be in
Hawpatch Cemetery, Topeka.
