Erwin E. Eash
Erwin E. Eash, 82, of Shipshewana, died at 3:33 am on Wednesday, February 26 at
his residence. He was born on January 5, 1932 in LaGrange County to Erwin S. and
Elizabeth V. (Lambright) Eash. On September 29, 1956 in LaGrange County he
married Mary Etta Hostetler, died January 1, 2014. Surviving are three daughters -
Lizzie Mae (Ernest R.) Miller of Millersburg, Ruth Ann (Willie Jr.) Yoder, LeEtta (Eli,
Jr.) Yutzy both of Shipshewana; four sons - Marlin (Doris) Eash, Cletus (Sue) Eash
both of Shipshewana, Glen (Anna) Eash of Goshen, Marvin (Waneta) Eash of
Shipshewana; 45 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren; two brothers - Amos
(Rebecca) Eash and Ora (Virginia) Eash both of Mcminnville, OR; four sisters - Millie
Yoder of Goshen, Edna (Perry) Yoder of Bloomfield, IA, Wilma (Vern) Fry, Rosa
(Albert) Yoder both of Topeka. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife; two
brothers, Harvey and Samuel Eash; four sisters, Alice Eash, Susie Eash, Elizabeth
Mast, Ida Eash. He was a retired farmer, enjoyed woodworking and was a member of
the Old Order Amish Church. Visitation will be after 4 pm on Wednesday February 26
and all day Thursday February 27, at Marlin Eash residence, 0785 North 1000 West
Shipshewana. Funeral services will be at 9:30 am on Friday February 28, at Mervin
Wingard residence, 0635 North 1000 West Shipshewana. Services will be conducted
by Bishop Wilbur Miller and the home ministers. Burial will be in Yoder Cemetery,
Shipshewana. Miller-Stewart Funeral Home, Middlebury is in charge of
