Ervin A. Miller
Ervin A. Miller, 91, of Lagrange, died at 7:00 pm on Friday, May 17 at his daughter’s,
Fannie Miller, residence in Pardeeville, WI. He was born on August 6, 1921 in
Lagrange to Ananias E. and Mattie (Hershberger) Miller. On January 29, 1942 in
LaGrange County he married Annie Miller, she died January 29, 2011. Surviving are
five daughters - Lydia Mae Petersheim of Dalton, WI, Fannie (Daniel Ray) Miller of
Pardeeville, WI, Leanna Miller, Katie (Floyd R.) Miller both of Lagrange, Erma
(Freeman S.) Miller of Pardeeville, WI; four sons - Clarence (Anna Marie) Miller of
Shipshewana, Orva Miller of Avoca, NY, Perry (Wilma) Miller of LaGrange, Leroy
(Ada Mae) Miller of Dalton, WI; son-in-law - Eli (Ruby) Schrock of LaGrange; 65
grandchildren, 260 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife,
parents, daughter, Mary Schrock, five great grandchildren, daughter-in-law, Ella
Miller, two son’s-in-law, Elva Petersheim and Edwin Miller, four sister, Anna
Schmucker, Mary Hochstetler, Katie Graber, infant Matie Miller, five brothers,
Nathaniel , Clarence, Neal, Levi and Ammon Miller. Ervin was a farmer,
owner/operator of a metal shop at his residence and a member of the Old Order
Amish Church. Visitation will be after 1:00 pm on Sunday May 19 and all day on
Monday May 20 at the Floyd R. Miller residence, 4460 West 100 South LaGrange.
Funeral services will be at 9:30 am on Tuesday May 21 at the same residence.
Services will be conducted by Bishop Dan W. Yoder and the home ministers. Burial
will be in Beechy Cemetery, LaGrange.
