Emma Swartzentruber
                                    November 9, 1924 -- August 8, 2017

Emma Swartzentruber, 92, of Goshen, died at 11:30 pm, on Tuesday, August
8 at Greencroft Health Care Center. She was born on November 9, 1924, in
Kokomo, to Henry B. and Esther (Beachy) Yoder. On November 25, 1948 in
Plain City, OH she married Enos   Swartzentruber. He died July 31, 2007.
Surviving are six daughters, Esther (Owen) Hershberger and Carol (Harry)
Scribner both of Goshen, Mary Swartzentruber of Hutchinson, KS, Becky (Al)
Yoder of Sarasota, FL, Rhoda (Menno) Hochstedler of Topeka, Alma (Alfred)
Yoder of Rosedale, OH; son, Dale (Elsie) Swartzentruber of Nappanee; 12
grandchildren, six great grandchildren, three step grandchildren, nine step
great grandchildren; four brothers, Jonas Yoder of Jamesport, MO , John
Yoder of Crab Orchard, KY, Lester Yoder of Garnett, KS, Henry (Viola) Yoder
of Kalona, IA; sister, Alma (Glen S.) Miller of Goshen. She was preceded in
death by her husband; parents; daughter, Naomi Swartzentruber; three
sisters, Bertha Bontrager, Fannie Gingerich, and Ruby Yoder; two brothers,
Allen and Ezra Yoder. She was a homemaker and a member of Griner
Mennonite Church. She enjoyed traveling, spending time with family, flower
gardening, putting together jigsaw puzzles, and playing table games.
Visitation will be from 3:00 - 7:00 pm on Sunday, August 13, 2017 at
Miller-Stewart Funeral Home, 1003 South Main Street, Middlebury. There will
be one hour of visitation prior to the 10:30 am funeral service on Monday,
August 14 at Griner Mennonite Church, Middlebury. Services will be
conducted by Pastors DeWayne Yoder and Robert Riegsecker. Burial will be
in Miller Cemetery, Goshen. Memorials may be given to World Missionary
