Elmer C. Miller
                                       June 2, 1931 -- June 1, 2020

Elmer C. Miller, 88, of LaGrange, died at 11:50 am on Monday, June 1 at his
residence.  He was born on June 2, 1931 in LaGrange County to Clarence A.
and Polly (Yoder) Miller. On March 5, 1953 in Shipshewana, he married Ida J.
Yoder; she died December 25, 1989. On May 26, 1991 in Shipshewana, he
married Katie Mae (Eash) Miller; she survives. Survivors in addition to his
wife are six daughters, Carolyn (Wilbur) Miller of Topeka, Freda Mae (Orva)
Miller of LaGrange, Irene (Elmer) Miller of Hillsboro, WI, Mary (Floyd) Miller of
Shipshewana, Rosanna (Eugene) Bontrager of Goshen, Kathryn (Herman)
Yoder of Shipshewana; seven sons, Jerry (Susie) Miller of Middlebury,
Herman (Mary) Miller of LaGrange, Richard (Suanna) Miller of Shipshewana,
Harley (Susie) Miller of Dalton, WI, Wilbur (Mary) Miller of LaGrange, Nelson
(Sara) Miller of Topeka, Elmer Jr. (LeAnna) Miller of Shipshewana; six
stepdaughters, Rosie (Menno Jr.) Mast of Bonduel, WI, Treva (Owen) Yoder of
Cecil, WI, Ruth (Sam) Mast, Mary Ann (Amos) Miller both of LaGrange, Martha
(Alton) Bontrager of Shipshewana, Elnora (David) Bontrager of LaGrange;
three stepsons, Ben (Edna) Miller of Howe, David (Marietta) Miller of
Shipshewana, Dan (Edna) Miller of Shawano, WI; step daughter-in-law, Marie
Miller of LaGrange; 80 grandchildren, 80 step grandchildren, 250
great-grandchildren, 127 step great-grandchildren, 23 step great-great
grandchildren; two sisters, Mattie Bontrager of Dalton, WI, Ada Hochstetler of
Holland, MI; brother, Menno C. (Edna) Miller of Leroy, MI. He was preceded in
death by his parents; first wife; daughter, Leanna Miller; daughter-in-law,
Joanna Miller; stepson, Jerry Miller; one grandchild; four step grandchildren;
two step great-grandchildren. Elmer was a retired farmer and member of the
Old Order Amish Church. Visitation will be after 2:00 pm on Tuesday, June 2
and all day Wednesday, June 3 at the family's residence, 0700 S. 400 W.,
LaGrange. Funeral services will be at 9:30 am on Thursday, June 4 also at the
family's residence. Services will be conducted by the home ministers. Burial
will be in Beechy Cemetery, LaGrange.
