February 24, 1920 -- November 30, 2014

Ella W. Byler, 94, of LaGrange, died at 3:00 pm, on Sunday, November 30, at
her residence. She was born on February 24, 1920 in LaGrange County to
William S. and Edna Mae (Miller) Miller. On April 24, 1941 in LaGrange
County she married Lester J. Byler, he died February 1, 2009. Surviving are
six daughters, Edna Mae Miller of LaGrange, Arlene (Ivan H.) Bontrager of
Bonduel, WI, Leanna (Melvin J.) Yoder, Luella (Mervin E.) Miller both of
LaGrange, Ruth (Aaron N.) Miller of Ligonier, Velma (Perry C.) Yoder of
Topeka; two sons, Mervin L. (Rebecca) Byler of Wolcottville and Vernon L.
(Edna Fern) Byler of LaGrange; 44 grandchildren, 7 step grandchildren, 126
great grandchildren, 33 step great grandchildren, 13 great great-
grandchildren; brother, Ervin (Mary) Miller of LaGrange; two sisters, Ida Mae
Lehman of LaGrange, Emma (Levi) Bontrager of Shipshewana; sister-in-
law, Mary (Ora) Miller of LaGrange. She was preceded in death by her
husband; parents; a grandchild; a step grandchild; son-in-law, Atlee Miller,
four brothers, Elvie, Ora, Howard and Amos Miller; sister, Mary Miller. She
was a homemaker and member of the Old Order Amish Church. Visitation
will be after 4:30 pm on Monday, December 1, and all day Tuesday,
December 2, at family’s residence, 0090 West 300 South LaGrange. Funeral
services will be at 9:30 am on Wednesday, December 3, at the Raymond
Miller’s residence, 0115 West 300 South LaGrange.  Services will be
conducted by Bishop Marvin Graber and the home ministers. Burial will be
in Miller Cemetery, LaGrange. Miller-Stewart Funeral Home, Middlebury is in
charge of arrangements.
