Edward Shrock, Jr.
                          February 11, 1934  ~ December 20, 2017          

Edward Shrock, Jr., 83, of Middlebury, passed away at 5:00 am on
Wednesday at his residence after a battle with cancer. He was born on
February 11, 1934 in Washington, IN. to Edd and Fannie (Yoder) Shrock. On
June 12, 1957 in Rolette, ND he married Joann Graber, she survives.
Survivors in addition to his wife are two sons, Dale Shrock and Donavan
Shrock both of Middlebury; two daughters, Denise (Dave) Wilkerson of
Bristol and Diane (Stephen) Lizon of Indianapolis; four grandchildren, Clay,
Cole, Grant, and Dane; a sister, Phyllis (John) Schrock of Hesston, KS; two
Brothers, David (Catherine) Shrock of Myakka City, FL. and Fred (Jan)
Shrock of Elkhart. He was preceded in death by his parents; three brothers,
Paul, Silas, and Peter Shrock; two sisters, Martha Slaubaugh and Alma
Knepp. Edward had been the owner/operator of Graber-Shrock Chevrolet
in North Dakota; he later worked as a salesman for Shrock Manufacturing
and Better Product, both in Elkhart. He was a former member of the Elcona
Curling Club and was an avid fisherman. He served his 1W service at
Elkhart General Hospital and enjoyed collecting and attending auctions for
antique toys, especially miniature cars and John Deere tractors. Visitation
will be from 2:00 - 5:00 and 6:00 - 8:00 pm on Friday, December 22, at
Miller-Stewart Funeral Home, 1003 South Main Street Middlebury. Family
and friends may gather on Saturday, December 23, at Grace Lawn
Cemetery, Middlebury at 10:00 am for a graveside service; that will be
followed by an 11:00 am memorial service at Bonneyville Mennonite
Church, Bristol. Services will be conducted by Pastor Philip Bender and
Marcella Hershberger. Memorials may be given to Camp Amigo.

So sorry for your loss joanne and family jr was a great man full of laughs
and of course jokes, jr was always there to help you whenever needed..he
did alot for community of rolette,nd while living there..jr will be missed.
