Harry has reached his final goal. May we look forward to meeting him there. I
enjoyed your visits when he was my neighbor here.

Condolences:  I was lucky enough to be one of the students on his bus. He was
the best bus driver ever, the words of advice he gave were priceless. He made a
big impact on my life.  God bless his family.

Dolores Elaine Hooley, 81, of LaGrange, formerly of Shipshewana died at 7:15
am on Saturday, May 9, 2015 at Millers Merry Manor, LaGrange from
complications of Alzheimers. She was born on December 19, 1933 in Sturgis,
MI, to Silas "Emir" and June (Allison) Nelson.  On July 25, 1953 in
Shipshewana she married Francis "Frank" L. Hooley, he survives. Survivors in
addition to her husband are two sons, Brent (Deanna) Hooley and Brian
Hooley both of Shipshewana; three grandsons, Brandon (Kristie) Hooley,
Ryan (Alyssa) Hooley, Nathaniel (Ashly) Hooley; a step-granddaughter,
Shannon (Todd) Kersey; three great granddaughters; a great grandson; a
step-great granddaughter. She was preceded in death by her parents and an
infant brother, Silas E. Nelson, Jr. She was a homemaker and charter member
of the Shipshewana Church of the Nazarene where she had taught Sunday
School and was the church pianist. She was secretary in the Westview School
Corporation for 38 years, working most of her time at Shipshewana-Scott
Elementary and then retired in 2000 from Westview Elementary. Visitation will
be from 4:00 - 8:00 pm on Thursday May 14, at Miller-Stewart Funeral Home,
1003 South Main Street Middlebury. Funeral services will be at 10:00 am on
Friday May 15, 2015 at Shipshewana Church of the Nazarene. Services will be
conducted by Pastor Clyde Gunn. Burial will be in Shore Cemetery,
Shipshewana. Memorials may be given to Shipshewana Historical Society.

Delores was an anchor, very kind secretary in our Westview Corp., helpful when we
had questions, or needed help, was so easy to talk with, was a kind lady. She, Nancy
Sutton, Nancy Marks were gals I had most contact with, all very valuable secretaries
for our corp..   Sending our condolences to the family.

I have so many fond memories of Dolores here at Westview Elementary.  Her
