Danny D. Royce
Danny D. Royce, 84, of Bristol died at 2:25 am on Sunday at
Courtyard of Goshen. He was born on July 2, 1933 in Mishawaka to
Marion and Gertrude (Parks) Royce. On November 23, 1964 in
Ligonier he married Annetta M. Lengacher, she died February 28,
2016. Surviving are two sons, Mark (Julie) Royce of Middlebury and
Doug Royce of Bristol; two grandchildren, Adrian (Annie Orrill)
Royce and Madeline Royce; two brothers, Oliver (Mary) Royce and
Jack Royce all of Elkhart; sister, Norma Stoltzfus of Fort Wayne. He
was preceded in death by his wife; parents; brother, Chuck Royce,
two sisters, Betty Farrell and Nancy Walker. Danny was a Korean
War veteran serving in the Army from 1957 to 1959, he was a
member of the American Legion Post #210, Middlebury and of the
DAV of Elkhart; he served on the color guard team for both
organizations. He was a member of the 40 & 8 club of the American
Legion. He enjoyed fishing, camping and working in the lawn and
was an avid Minnesota Vikings fan. Danny had worked for 44 years
at Mogul Rubber of Goshen as a press operator. Visitation will be
from 2:00 - 4:00 and 6:00 - 7:30 pm on Wednesday, May 2, at
Miller-Stewart Funeral Home, 1003 South Main Street Middlebury.
Funeral services will follow at 7:30 pm also at the funeral home.
Services will be conducted by Rich Troyer. Burial will be at a later
date in Oak Ridge Cemetery, Bristol. Memorials may be given to
American Legion Post 210 Middlebury.

miss him. We had many good times and made a lot of memories
that I will forever keep in my heart.
