Daniel A. Yoder
                                February 11, 1934 -- November 25, 2013

Daniel A. Yoder, 79, of Middlebury, died at 5:50 am on Monday, November 25,
at the Courtyard Health Care Center, Goshen where he had stayed since
September 2013 after breaking his hip. He was born on February 11, 1934 in
Lumberton, MS, to Andrew M. and Emma (Schrock) Yoder. On January 10,
1963 in Ohio he married Elizabeth Yoder, she survives. Survivors in addition
to his wife are four daughters, Martha (Elvin) Schrock of Colby, WI, Susie
(Walter) Helmuth of Wakarusa, Edna (Wendell) Zimmerman of Goshen, Delilah
Mears of Middlebury; four sons, Andrew (Martha) Yoder of Bittinger, MD,
Moses (Meg) Yoder of Constantine, MI, Jonathan (Anna) Yoder of Goshen,
Henry (Norma) Yoder of Clarkson, KY; 28 grandchildren and one great-
granddaughter; three sisters, Mary Yoder, Lydia Troyer and Mattie (Samuel)
Hostetler all of Ethridge, TN; five brothers, Andrew (Sarah) Yoder of Memphis,
TN, Noah Yoder of TN, Joe (Iva) Yoder of Ethridge, TN, Eli (Fannie) Yoder of
Ephrata, PA, Enos (Mary) Yoder of LaGrange. He was preceded in death by
his parents, three brothers, Moses, Gideon and Jake Yoder, two sisters,
Lizzie Yoder and Delila Yoder and two grandchildren. Daniel was a member
of Fairhaven Mennonite Church, a retired van driver and loved fishing.
Visitation will be from 2:00 - 4:00 and 6:00 -8:00 pm Wednesday, November
27 and 5 – 8 pm on Thursday, November 28 at Fairhaven Mennonite Church,
13513 State Road 4 Goshen. Funeral services will be at 10:00 am on Friday
November 29, also at Fairhaven Mennonite Church. Services will be
conducted by Bishop Wilbur Yoder and Pastor Dale Hochstetler. Burial will
be in Thomas Cemetery, Goshen. Memorials may be given to Fairhaven
Mennonite Church.
