June 15, 1934 -- October 25, 2015

Constance Jean Wensloff, 81, of Middlebury, died at 2:05 am, on Sunday,
October 25, 2015 at IU Health Goshen Hospital, Goshen. She had been in
declining health for just one week. She was born on June 15, 1934, in Battle
Creek, MI. to Loyal and Jean (Harris) Saxton. She was married for over 50
years to Louis Edward Wensloff, he passed away July 29, 2009. Surviving are
son, David (Gerri) Wensloff of Indianapolis; five grandchildren, Susan,
Christina, Kelly, Katie, and Jamie; eight great grandchildren; two sisters, Lois
Faye Neal of Battle Creek, MI. and Nancy Clark of Niles, MI; two brothers,
Michael (Sherrill) Saxton of Taos, NM. and Stephen (Patricia) Saxton of
Cassopolis, MI; a sister-in-law, Marilyn (Ed) Barrett of Niles, MI. She was
preceded in death by her parents, husband and a sister, Suzanne Saxton.
Connie loved spending time with her family and friends; she had built many
wonderful relationships with friends in the Amish community. She was a
homemaker and had a wonderful knack for interior designing. She had a true
interest in people’s lives and loved to ask questions about their family and
their wellbeing.  She enjoyed a good natured discussion and debate about
God and many other subjects. A graveside service will be held in the spring
of 2016. Burial will be beside her husband, Louis in Grace Lawn Cemetery,
Middlebury. Memorials may be given to IU Goshen Cancer Center.

Connie was such a gentle soul who always greeted you with her wonderful
smile.  I will miss our talks and visits spent together.  My sincere condolences
to you in your loss...

We are so sorry to hear of Connie's death. May God be your comfort.  Your
