Chris J. Lambright
                                        May 7, 1933 -- April 2, 2018

Chris J. Lambright, 84, of Shipshewana, died at 7:00 am on Monday,
April 2, at his residence. He was born on May 7, 1933 in Shipshewana, to
Jerry and Susie (Miller) Lambright.  On May 24, 1956 in Middlebury he
married Anna Mae Bontrager; she survives. Survivors in addition to his
wife are three daughters, Katie (Norman) Lehman of Middlebury, Susan
(Calvin) Miller of Topeka, Ruby (Wilbur) Miller of Shipshewana; five sons,
Glen (Sharon) Lambright of Goshen, Floyd (Sharon) Lambright of
Topeka, Jerry (Orpha) Lambright of Shipshewana, Joseph (Marietta)
Lambright of Millersburg, Chris Jr. (Norma) Lambright of Shipshewana;
daughter-in-law, Vera Lambright of Topeka;61 grandchildren, 124 great
grandchildren; sister, Ida Mae Schlabach of LaGrange; brother, Sam
(Anna) Lambright of Shipshewana; sister-in-law, Anna Lambright of
LaGrange. He was preceded in death by his parents, a son, Freeman
Lambright, two brothers, Vernon and Perry Lambright, sister, Wilma
Hochstetler. Chris was a retired Bishop of the Old Order Amish Church.
Visitation will be after 1:00 pm on Tuesday April 3, and all day
Wednesday, April 4, at the family's residence, 1275 N. 925 W.,
Shipshewana. Funeral services will be at 9:30 am on Thursday, April 5,
also at the family's residence. Services will be conducted by Bishop
Amos Bontrager and the home ministers. Burial will be in Bontrager
Cemetery, Middlebury.
