September 5, 1936 -- February 13, 2020

Chester A. Miller, 83, of Millersburg, died at 7:04 am on Thursday, February
13, at Goshen Health Hospital. He was born on September 5, 1936 in Goshen
to Andrew and Susie (Hochstetler) Miller. On January 1, 1959 in Goshen he
married Treva Bontrager, she survives. Survivors in addition to his wife are
two sons, Gerald (Mary Ruth) Miller and Galen (Wilma) Miller all of
Millersburg; two daughters, Grace (Wayne) Miller and Glenda (LaVern) Yoder
all of Goshen; 15 grandchildren, 39 great-grandchildren; a brother, Emanuel
(Esther) Miller of Bolivar, MO. He was preceded in death by his parents; a
sister, Mary Ellen Miller and a brother, Vernon Miller. Chester was a retired
farmer and had worked at Jayco in Middlebury for many years. He was a
member of the Old Order Amish Church and he was ordained as a minister in
1974.Visitation will be after 4:00 pm on Thursday, February 13, and all day
Friday, February 14, at the family's residence, 11960 County Road 38
Millersburg. Funeral services will be at 9:30 am on Saturday, February 15,
also at the family’s residence. Services will be conducted by Bishop Marlin
Hochstetler and the home ministers. Burial will be in Clinton Union Cemetery,
Goshen. Miller-Stewart Funeral Home, Middlebury is in charge of
