Dear Mother of Charlie, My husband(Mel Kauffman) and Charlie were good
friends and greeted each other when ever and wherever they saw each
other; at church or at Golden Rod Homes. Also my son Jamie and Charlie
were friends at the Farm Bureau Credit Union. Mel died almost 3 years ago,
so Charlie and I continued to always greet each other at church. Charlie was
loved and will be missed. Prayers for comfort and peace.

This is Russell Coon. I was a care giver for Charlie when he lived at omega
house (mennonite disabilities committe) in the early nineties for 3 years. I
have wonderful memories of Charlie and. And he was an expert on classic
cars, an excellent swimmer, as he showed on our trip to the boundary waters
of Minnesota With MDC.
