February 25, 1949 -- November 6, 2014

Calvin Devon Miller, 65, of LaGrange, died at 7:45 pm, on Thursday,
November 6, at his mother’s residence. Although he had struggled with
health issues his death was unexpected.  He was born on February 25, 1949,
in Goshen to Daniel M. and Anna (Graber) Miller. Surviving is a daughter,
Crystal (Matt) Ristow of Chicago, IL; his mother of Goshen, two sisters, Luella
(Glen) Mast of Topeka, Marilyn (Gerald) Mast of Goshen; three brothers,
Ferman (Mary) Miller of Goshen, Marion (Beatriz) Miller of Middlebury, Dennis
(Sandra) Miller of Heber Springs, AR; the mother of his daughter, Ruth
(Knight) Hamm of Red Hill, PA. He was preceded in death by his father and a
brother, Gerald Miller. He was a retired over the road truck driver of 39 years
and recently had been providing Amish taxi service. He was a people person
and enjoyed time with his family and was especially proud of his daughter.
He attended Crossroads Baptist Church, Shipshewana. Visitation will be
from 4:00 - 8:00 pm on Saturday November 8, and 1:00 - 6:00 pm Sunday
November 9, at Miller-Stewart Funeral Home, 1003 South Main Street
Middlebury. Funeral services will be at 10:00 am on Monday November 10, at
Pleasant Grove Mennonite Church, Goshen. Services will be conducted by
Pastor Mark Suever of Crossroads Baptist Church. Burial will be in Clinton
Union Cemetery, Goshen. Memorials may be given to the Diabetes
