Bobbie W. Yoder
July 23, 1933 - November 14, 2020
Bobbie W. Yoder, 87, of Middlebury, died at 6:12 pm on Saturday,
November 14, at Goshen Hospital. He was born on July 23, 1933 in
Avilla to Plen I. and Margerie M. (Madden) Yoder. On September 30,
1955 in Ligonier he married Doris A. Miller, she survives. Survivors
in addition to his wife are daughter, Monica (Donald) Weldy of
Nappanee; two sons, David (Kathy) Yoder of Wakarusa and Greg
(Monica) Yoder of Middlebury; five Grandchildren, Shawn Weldy,
Cindy (Tom) Lamb, Denise (Jeremy) Rush, Andrew (Sasha) Yoder
and Brandilyn (Stephen) Hetzel; six great-Grandchildren, Dillion,
Garrett, Kaitlyn, Wesley, Tanner and Nathan; sister, Bonita Brunner
of Akron. He was preceded in death by his parents; three brothers,
Paul I., Harold L., and Allen E. Yoder; three sisters, Betty L. Leamon,
Neva M. Lawson and Janet R. Crowell. Bobbie worked in the RV
and manufactured housing industry for over 35 years in an array of
different departments. He was a member of the American Legion
Post 210 where he was a member of the Legion Riders. He is a
Veteran of the United States Marine Corps serving in the Korean
War. He was the Elkhart County Veteran Service Officer. He was a
member of the Elkhart County Community Baptist Church and
enjoyed collecting old tools. The family will be holding private
services that will be conducted by Pastor Ed Ritchie. Burial will be
in Maple Grove Cemetery, Topeka, with full Military Honors
provided by American Legion Post 210 Middlebury. Memorials may
be given to American Legion Post 210.  Online condolences may be
