Barry W. Cheeks
Barry W. Cheeks, 64, of Constantine, MI, died at 5:30 pm onThursday,
December 28, 2017 at Fairview Nursing and Rehabilitation Community,
Centreville, MI. He was born on May 14, 1953 in Welch, WV, to Charlie M. and
Ethel Mae (Robinson) Cheeks. Survivors include his son, Earl Cheeks of
Constantine, MI; two grandchildren and several brothers. He was preceded in
death by his father. Barry had worked at Asics Foundry and later as a plant
supervisor for Simplex Paper Miller in Constantine, MI. He had served in the
US Marine Corps. The family will hold a memorial serve at a later date. Online

I met Barry in early grade school. He quickly became one of my two best
friends while I was at Constantine. Only good memories of him.

I worked with Barry at Simplex papermill in Constantine. Earl, I remember the
time my daughter and I went sledding and your dad brought you also. Very
sorry for your loss. He was a good man.

Barry and I were good friends all through school and worked together at the
papermill in Constantine. Barry loved his family and would always smile and
chuckle when talking about his grandchildren. Barry will be greatly missed.
