Barbara E. Weaver
November 12, 1928 ~ January 21, 2015
Barbara E. Weaver, 86, of Goshen, formerly of Middlebury, died at 1:20 pm, on
Wednesday, January 21, at Greencroft Health Care Center, Goshen. She was
born on November 12, 1928, in Buchanan County, IA, to David and Mattie
(Yoder) Schrock. On February 27, 1949 in Wakarusa she married Lowell E.
Weaver; he died April 12, 2013. Surviving are two sons, Tom (Barbara)
Weaver of Goshen, Steve (Susan) Weaver of Salt Lake City, UT; two
daughters, Rebecca (Gary) Cline of Swoope, VA, Patricia Weaver of CA; nine
grandchildren, five great- grandchildren; sister, Sue Kurtz of Goshen; three
brothers, Edward Schrock of Goshen, Bob Schrock of Mishawaka, David
Schrock of Indianapolis. She is also survived by her faithful companion
Coco. She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, brother, Alvin
Schrock, three sisters, Elizabeth Beck, Alma Bontrager and Mary Yoder.
Barbara was a charter member of Bonneyville Mennonite Church where she
was very faithful in attending. She was a homemaker, had been a telephone
operator in Elkhart and had been a secretary with her husband for their
different woodworking businesses. She loved flowers, enjoyed gardening,
watching birds and riding motorcycle with her husband. Visitation will begin
at 3:00 pm followed by a memorial service at 4:00 on Saturday January 24, at
Bonneyville Mennonite Church, Bristol. Services will be conducted by Pastor
Marcella Hershberger. The family will have a private burial service at Grace
Lawn Cemetery prior to the memorial service. Memorials may be given to
United Cancer Services of Elkhart County.

So sorry for your loss. It is very hard. I lost both my mom and dad in 2014. My
dad in February and my mom in October.
