Amos LaVern Bontrager
                                  February 8, 1965 -- January 30, 2015

Amos LaVern Bontrager, 49, of Goshen, died at 9:15 pm on Friday, January
30, at IU Health Goshen Hospital after a courageous battle with cancer. He
was born on February 8, 1965 in LaGrange, to Ervin and Edna (Schlabach)
Bontrager.  On September 24, 1986 in LaGrange County he married Millie
Bontrager; she survives. Survivors in addition to his wife are seven
daughters, Lydia Sue (Mark) Mullett of Millersburg, Amy Jo (Nathan) Lehman
of Goshen, Amanda Kay (Matthew) Miller and Mary Edna (Vernon) Miller both
of Millersburg, Carol Ann Bontrager, Sarah Jean Bontrager and Marlene Rose
Bontrager all at home; a son, Nelson LaVern Bontrager at home; two
grandchildren, Joshua LaVern Mullett and Amber Renee Lehman;  his
parents of Topeka; three sisters, Elsa Mae (Ernest) Bontrager of Topeka,
Ruby Fern (Gary) Yoder of Howe, Mary Ruth (Edwin Ray) Miller of Lincoln,
AR; brother, Jerry Lee (LeAnna) Bontrager of Topeka.  He was preceded in
death by two brothers, Ervin Jr. and Cletus Ray Bontrager. He had worked at
Keystone RV and was the owner/operator of A.L. Enterprises. He was a
member of the Old Order Amish Church. Visitation will be after 3:00 pm on
Saturday January 31, and all day Sunday, February 1, at the family's
residence, 13256 State Rd. 4, Goshen. Funeral services will be at 9:30 am on
Monday February 2, at Maynard Yoder's, Superior Hardwood, 14737 State Rd.
4, Goshen. Services will be conducted by Bishop Ernest Schrock and the
home ministers. Burial will be in Thomas Cemetery, Goshen.
