February 20, 1988 - April 7, 2021

Amber Lechlitner, 33, of Middlebury passed into the arms of Jesus on
Wednesday, April 7, at St. Joseph Regional Medical Center,
Mishawaka, after suffering a severe stroke last Saturday evening. She
was born February 20, 1988 in Elkhart to John and Mary Ann
(Kauffman) Lechlitner. She is survived by her parents, along with
many uncles, aunts and cousins. She blessed all who knew her with
her pure, sweet soul and ready smile. She was preceded in death by
her grandparents, Alvin and Mary Kauffman, James and Helen
Lechlitner; and her cousin, Heather Beachey Hayes. Amber loved her
family and always looked forward to family get-togethers. She loved
all animals, especially her cats. She graduated from Northridge High
School and was a member of Pathway Church. She attended ADEC
day program in Middlebury. Visitation will be from 1:00 to 5:00 pm on
Sunday, April 11, at Miller-Stewart Funeral Home, Middlebury. There
will also be one hour of visitation prior to the 10:00 am funeral on
Monday, April 12, also at the funeral home. The services will be
conducted by Pastor Scott Miller and will be live streamed via a link
on Amber’s webpage at Burial will
follow at Grace Lawn Cemetery, Middlebury and memorials may be
given to ADEC or the Humane Society of Elkhart County.  While our
hearts are deeply broken, the gratitude we feel to God for entrusting
Amber to us to love will sustain us until we meet again.
