Albert S. Yoder
                                        March 22, 1937 -- December 27, 2018

Albert S. Yoder, 81, of Topeka, died at 3:00 am on Thursday, December 27, at his
residence. He was born on March 22, 1937, in Yoder, KS, to William D. and Susie
(Yoder) Yoder. On April 17, 1958 in Topeka, he married Rosa Eash; she survives.
Survivors in addition to his wife are four sons, Dannie (Mary Alice) Yoder of
Middlebury, Willie (Naomah) Yoder of Millersburg, Clayton (Carolyn) Yoder of
Topeka, Milton (Elaine) Yoder of Millersburg; three daughters, Josephine (DeWayne-
deceased) Kauffman of Hodgdon, ME, Regina (Earl) Mast of Topeka, Miriam (Merlin)
Schlabach of Middlebury; 50 grandchildren, 74 great-grandchildren; three brothers,
William (Lora) Yoder of Syracuse, David (Ida Mae) Yoder of Shipshewana, Merle
(Ottie) Yoder of Castalian Springs, TN; three sisters, Polly Fry of Fairview, MI, Anna
(Glen) Fry of Topeka, Ruby (Elmer) Byler of Millersburg; two sisters-in-law, Ruby
Mae Yoder of Topeka, Carolyn Yoder of Topeka. He was preceded in death by his
parents; son-in-law, DeWayne Kauffman and grandson, Daniel Yoder; eight
brothers, Daniel, Joseph, Herman, Amos, Perry, Ora, Elmer and Felty Yoder; seven
sisters, Katie Cross, Sadie Summerlot, Betsy Fry, Clara Slabach, Susanna Keim,
Vera Miller, Edna Fern Miller. He was a retired carpenter and farmer, and a minister
 
of the Old Order Amish Church. Visitation will be after 2:00 pm on Friday, December
28 and all day Saturday, December 29 at the family residence, 7050 W. 500 S.,
Topeka. Funeral services will be at 9:30 am on Sunday, December 30, at the Marvin
Lambright residence, 7115 W. 500 S., Topeka. Services will be conducted by Bishop
Lee Andrew Yoder and the home ministers. Burial will be in Hawpatch Cemetery,
Topeka. Miller-Stewart Funeral Home, Middlebury, is assisting the family with
arrangements.
